So… Why is it that this site claims to be a “beach centric” site but yall got non-beach-stuff for home, camping, for golf carts and tools?
Well for us it IS beach stuff. Here on the Texas Gulf Coast, golf carts are a pretty popular site on the beach. Also, we don’t have a beach house, we have an RV lot with electricity, water, and all utilities, so we can pull our beach “house” (travel trailer) North to the moderately hurricane safe area North of Houston, TX.

These are my new favorites! Though I’m not one of the Pineapple Tribe, I appreciate the look and the compression shorts liner. These are so much better than the old mesh style liners that end up chaffing after a day constantly in and out of the water.

I was quite skeptical about magnetic side mirrors but I’m definitely sold now. Even bouncing around all day up and down a rutted beach these stayed in place perfectly. They have a serious magnetic bond.

My wife is crazy about this thing, it is super light and the case folds out into the top cover. It even has a backpack type pair of handles.

Is that Mrs. Roper? Naw but I could see what you mean. This is a beach cover up / kaftan – whatever you want to call it. It has a good light weight to it but hangs very well.

This beast replaced the one I bent Memorial Day weekend. This shackle hitch is solid steel and very well coated. It comings with a locking hitch pin – but I put in a regular one as much as it’s on and off.

This is an electric hand held buffer for rubbing compound or for applying wax. It uses the Dewalt compatible 20v Max batteries and it doesn’t come with one. It does come with a bag full of heads that use the hook and loop attachment. It’s a good tool – don’t wear your dress clothes when you’re using it – you’ll get splattered for sure.  😁

It’s like overalls for your 5-gallon bucket, with oodles of pockets! We used the 5-gallon bucket with a lid and a hole cut in the top as our shower on the beach. The myriad of pockets held the shower head, soap and other accessories perfectly.

This is a pretty low cost spinner reel I am using on a 12 foot surf rod. I have it strung with 30lb Trilene monofilament. It caught a few Hardheads weekend before last, not much biting unfortunately. It’s a good mid to large size reel ideal in the 10-30 pound weight range.

I have seen several versions of this flag, but I like the black background and the fact that you get brass grommets on each 3 foot end so it can face whichever way you please. It’s a good looking flag, though a little light weight. Be careful with the grommets until you get it mounted or you’re bound to lose one.

This USB type C rechargeable submersible pump is a nice beach companion. It shoots out the spray head about 7 feet with moderate pressure. We have it in a 5-gallon bucket with the lid on and a hole cut in it to keep the water from sloshing out.

This 2 pack of low rider beach chairs is a nice diversion from the standard camp chair. They fold up small and fit in our fishing cart easily.

Our neighbor looked hard to find the perfect size for keeping extra keys in so she could hang it off the golf cart key. It’s a small size, but capable of keeping a credit card, some cash, and a few keys safe and together.

The picture doesn’t show it well but this has a 2″ receiver hitch so it can go in a receiver on an ATV, car, truck, or golf cart. We have ours mounted on the front of the golf cart to carry the cooler to free up our back seats for dogs or friends.

Not as good at growing hair as you once were? Yeah – that’s me. These are a nice light weight yet full sized 22″ bandana that breathes pretty well yet still protects your head from the sun or acts as a helmet liner for the riders.

These are great for joining extension cords outside and keeping them dry. The high visibility color is nice too. Technology and safety has come a long way, smart, cost effective product.

The wife loves this one too, it’s a lab grown blue opal wave ring. There are a few color varieties to choose from.

I have 7 of this size, some are electrical supplies and others are tackle boxes. They lock together well and close securely. I’ve had no issues with rust and the price is right.

If you want big loud bang for your buck, these Rockville dual 8″ passive coaxial speakers are a deal. You can push them hard and they attach to a roll bar or similar. You can get them in either Black or white. I used to have two pairs of these on my Jeep’s roll-bar because, you know, adult money!

My daughter got me this for Father’s Day last year. It is my everyday beach carry knife. I almost always have it on me clipped to the inside of my board shorts.

I used to buy the cheapest sunscreen I could find, buty there is much better out there. This is a cream but dries without the sticky feeling I get from some brands. I haven’t had issues with sweating into my eyes either.

What could be better than a Zero Gravity chair on the beach? An all aluminum frame Zero Gravity chair on the beach. It even comes with a little side table with drink holder.

It makes about 100 pounds of ice a day, and each full hopper load fills up 2 and a half 10 pound bags of ice. It will pay for itself in the next couple months since bagged ice has suffered from shrinkflation.

Yes it’s big, and it has 6 drink holders! This giant camp chair is quite the head turner. The kids love it too! The frame is steel so you need to wash it down good after beach time to avoid rust.

This Grizzly rotomolded cooler is a little beast. It is on the smaller size, holding 20 quarts, but it is a chunk.  It’s a bit heavy with excellent thick insulated walls for longer ice retention than most. I have it in white but there’s a good selection of colors to choose from. If your beach had a bear problem, never fear since it is bear rated.

These are made to hold your towels in place, but I use them for holding all kinds of things in place at and away from the beach. They come in a variety of shapes and colors.

Look familiar? Yes it’s more of the same but with a different variety of cute objects and creature to dazzle and entertain.

On the lighter side of hard shelled coolers is this beauty. The Igloo BMX is a good balance of being light weight, a good size, but still has that rotomolded ice retention ability. These are a bit easier on the wallet too.

Both of my beach next door – and the next door – neighbors have these. Yes it’s a 6×9 but it seriously puts out like – well it really puts out. It’s Bluetooth and has a great battery life.

A good friend without a sound system in their golf cart has this one. It’s big, it’s rugged, it’s waterproof and it sounds great. This is the same company that builds the sound bar and sub I have in our golf cart.

This one is my fave can koozie, the Brumate. It’s well made and rust proof and has survived several seasons living in the dash of the beach cart. I have this one in black. It keeps the 16 ounce aluminum bottles cold for much longer than regular koozies.

This one is my fave can koozie, the Brumate. It’s well made and rust proof and has survived several seasons living in the dash of the beach cart. I have this one in black. It keeps the 16 ounce aluminum bottles cold for much longer than regular koozies. There are several color options available.

This  CAT brand battery charger is perfect to keep your 12vdc beach toys topped off.   It has a setting for LiFePO4 or other lithium battery technologies. I use it on a 50AH LiFePO4 battery we use to run our gas golf cart.

So it’s a one piece with a little confidence boosting mid section coverage but still gives you the perfect opportunity to flaunt them buns! Suns out buns out, is that a thing? I like it more than she does, go figure!

These are my new go-to tank tops. I got the three pack of blue, black and navy. You get lots of exposed skin to keep that vitamin D flowing. They’re made of a synthetic that dries really fast and keeps you cool – lots of colors to choose from too.

The RoboCup is serious business, it holds tight—real tight. The cups hold a good variety of drink sizes, even a fishing pole. I keep this clamped to one of the vertical roof struts in our beach golf cart.

This Yeti brand folding camp chair is all welded aluminum, perfect for year after year at the salty beach. It’s not cheap—but hey, it’s a “forever” chair! My cousin received it as a gift, well built and well finished.

My wife’s fave can koozie, it hold the slim cans as well as the 12 ounce cans—all in one.  She has the white one, it stays looking nice even after months of salt air exposure. It has a 2nd ring to support the slim cans also.

I think this is standard equipment for folks with metal detectors on the beach. It hasn’t rusted as of yet and makes a pretty good size dig. You can pole mount it but I kept ours as it is so far.

This  is a 50 pack of 18 inch zip ties with the strength to support 200 pounds. That’s some serious zip ties—you’ll use them more than you think! They don’t rust and are water proof as well. I didn’t realize how bad we needed them until we got them!

These are my favorite swim trunks—or board shorts. Instead of the old timey mesh liner these have full on compression liners that keep your legs from rubbing. I wear thee as regular shorts also away from the beach as well.

These are another set of racer-back style synthetic tank tops, perfect for the beach. These were my old faves but I put on a couple pounds and had to upsize.  These dry well, look good, and come in a variety of colors.

These are some monster zip ties, a full three feet long. They support 250 pounds so they’ll hold together just about anything or anyone you need to be held together. It’s definitely a strong and salt resistant quick fix.

This, my friends, is a Gorilla Cart. It has regularly found itself towed behind our golf cart loaded down with chairs, coolers, beach canopies, and even kids. It has a large 7 cubic foot capacity and even has a dump bed. Assemble was quick and painless.

What’s not to like? The royal blue color really pops and leaves lots of square inches of skin for the enhanced vitamin D absorption. Again, I like this a lot more than my wife does, though it looks great on her!

When I fish from the beach, getting the line up and above the heads of any kids out swimming or people just walking the beach is important. This 12′ rod does the job nicely. It has the standard connector for mounting the reel – worked perfect.

On the more modest end of the beach wear spectrum is this. Still sexy & comes in great colors, but gives the coverage and confidence to get you back in a bikini. The wife DOES like this one! In a category where less is  more, this one stands out in a good way.

We were in the adult’s only pool at an all-inclusive just South of Cancun, MX – when a guy walked by sporting these gems. Of course I had to get them – found them on Amazon in no time and wear them proudly!

These are a budget friendly way to protect your smart phone or other valuables at the beach. The plastic is thick and rugged but they are able to be punctured so be easy sliding it across the concrete. The closure creates a good seal and it floats!

Yep, it’s a big huge inflatable duck! Our beach neighbor’s kids needed it so here it is. It’s quite big and very cool looking to 5 and 7 year old – and me too! It makes a better roof ornament than a riding toy, it’s very top heavy when you try to get on it in the water.

Life is better at the beach, get on your tire cover so you are sure to never forget. The scripts is teal on a black background – adds a personal touch to your Beach crawling machines.

This six pack of silicone towel bands come is 5 bright colors plus black. They’re made of silicone so they are heat and sun resistant. They’ll hold your towel to your chair or your garbage bag to your can.

This is a different beach cabana, it sets up like an umbrella. It unfolds into the square shape and then you fill up the bags with sand. It survived a a weekend of Gulf Coast wind just fine.

I loved our Gorilla Cart so much we upgraded to the larger, 12 cubic feet version. This one holds 1600 pounds and has 16″ wheels on it. I built a cage out of 1×2 inch treated lumber for even more storage.

This pair of umbrellas clip onto the back of your camp chair for a personal beach shade that folds up about the size of a Subway sandwich. The extra surface area strapped to your unattended camp chair are likely to blow over in strong wind.

I got this to keep the gasoline golf cart’s 12v battery topped off between uses and even while at the beach. It works just as well for jet skis, boats, and ATV’s, anything with a rechargeable 12v battery.

These give you a little boost of height and provide a quick drying pair of flip flops for cruising the beach in true Barbie style. These have a built in 2.16″ lift kit to get you a bit closer to the sun.

I’m definitely a fan of the new technology compression liners in swim trunks, so much better for your thighs than the mesh liners. These have a hidden interior pocket for your phone.

The local tourism group is really pushing for the use of these over traditional frame canopies. This one gives you 150 square feet of shade in a lightweight package that folds of the size of a camp chair.

The Shibumi Shade Mini gives you half the shade of its larger counterpart at 75 square feet. These hold up great in the wind and are sized for about two or three people to get under comfortably.

Our two full size Golden Doodles use this to get up our of the sand and catch a little shade at the beach. It’s lightweight and fits perfect on top of the 12 cubic foot Gorilla Cart.

I use these ball bungies all over the place. I use them to secure coolers to chairs, canopies and in the golf cart to keep chairs in place. I’ve used them to mount garbage bags to the canopy and the golf cart. I didn’t realize how much I needed them until I got my first bundle of 50. According to Amazon I’ve ordered this bundle three different times. (so far)

I have used these for years, the 10×10 foot straight leg beach canopy. They setup in just a few minutes and provide a full 100 square feet of shade. There is a huge variety of colors to select from.

I’ve been a fan of the Anker brand long before their excellent line of Soundcore products came out. This water resistance and a great sound with great bass response.

If you’ve every been surf fishing on a windy day you know the value of spider weights. These are an effective and interesting take on the lead ones we’ve used for years to keep our bait from drifting.

If you’re looking for a solar powered palm tree, look no more! It looks great, especially at night with the lights on. It held up pretty well to a year of Gulf coast wind and rain.

I bought several pairs of these over the years, their quite rugged for flip flops. I like the highlight colors, there are several options to choose from. Sizing is surprisingly close to what you’d get at a US or Canada shoe store, great for larger footed guys like me.

This pair of high quality silicone USB-C cables are a welcome upgrade from the flimsy cables that just don’t take abuse well. The quality is apparent from the thickness of the cable to the high quality ends.

Its super bright and a good size. It uses a 26650 battery or you can use AAA batteries instead. It is well built and easy to charge with a SB type C cable. IPX5 Waterproof level protect it from splashing water from any angle.

This metal detector is a full size treasure hunting machine. It comes with  headphones, but the built in speaker was plenty even  by the loud surf. I haven’t found anything good yet but it definitely does what it is supposed to do.

I added this low profile dual 12VDC outlet pair onto our beaching golf cart to run the backup camera and the GPS speedometer. It’s a quick installation and comes with the fuse and fuse holder already built in.

This thing saved our RV camper more than once from the frequent electrical storms on the coast. It’s made for a 30 amp RV (3-pin) not the 50 amp (4-pin) type campers. It’s a low price insurance policy every camper needs.

We use this waterproof power strip and surge protector to run lights and a refrigerator under our RV cover at our beach lot. It has held up well so far, even in the salt air and high humidity. It’s another low price insurance policy that’s important in this environment.

We have abused these solar lights for years, broken bulbs, and constantly exposed them to gulf coast weather – but it is still as bright as the day we got these. I bought a 2nd set to replace these but they just won’t die.

We have these on the vertical struts of our RV cover and they make a cool blue glow all night long. These too have been exposed to the salt and sun for over a year and are still holding up quite well. They are mounted with the double sided silicone tape as opposed to what came with them.

We replaced the factory lock and door handle on our last two RV’s with this electronic door lock. It has remotes and you can program a code as well. We even got one for our next door neighbors after their 3-year-old locked himself inside.

Our two full size Golden Doodles use this to get up out of the sand and catch a little shade at the beach. It’s lightweight and fits perfectly on top of the 12 cubic foot Gorilla Cart shelf frame we built.

I have two of these, one on each golf cart to isolate all of the aftermarket gear – like light bars and sounds systems. When we put the cart up after a good bath, just press the orange trip button to fully break the circuit, preventing parasitic drain.

This is a must-have for your camper, it is a surge suppressor that protects your entire 50 amp system. It’s simple to use and is weather proof, even for large or oversize 50 amp plug connectors.

In the same amount of space as a cigarette lighter outlet, you can have three USB ports and a volt meter. The display and the ports turn off to not drain your battery. I use these on the golf carts but they would be great on wave runners and ATVs.

This compact 8″ subwoofer by EcoXGear has lots of mounting options and is waterproof. I wash it down when I bathe the golf cart and spray it directly, all good. It has a built in amplifier and pairs wirelessly to the EcoXGear ecosystem of sound bars and portable speakers.

The actual trimmer blade part is either plastic, nylon, or ceramic – whatever it is it protects you from nicking your skin with the blades. It works in the shower though I think it cuts better when dry.

This is the EcoXGear sound bar, it is waterproof and you connect to it through Bluetooth. The range is pretty good and the sound is even better. For more bass or just more volume, you can pair it with other EcoXGear products like their 8″ subwoofer. I hose the salty sea spray off of it directly with a water hose weekly. It also has built in LED lights that can be set to different colors and patterns.

This is a good medium duty reel I use to fish the surf. It comes as a left handed reel but is easily switched over to be a right hand model for us normal folks. It holds a good amount of 20 or 30 pound test line.

I love that this rod holder is all aluminum, perfect for surviving the salt air. I mounted this on on the shelf cage I built over our 12 cubic foot Gorilla Cart, but it would do well mounted to a golf cart, ATV, or boat.

This little light got some bad reviews because it doesn’t come with a battery, rare for a rechargeable flashlight. It takes the giant 26650 Lithium batteries so it has some serious stamina. It’s a good light if you have some 26650’s around.

These carabiners are all aluminum and extra large. They’re not climbing strength, but they have been great for attaching beach bags to canopies or hanging a portable speaker.

I love that I can store multiple crab traps under my golf cart seat. These collapsing crab and bait traps can be baited with lots of things, I use porous bags with canned cat food. I’ve trapped blue crabs, mullet, and some other smaller bait fish.

This stainless steel leader line is a good rig for surf fishing. Connect your line to the swivel at the top, put a spider weight at the very bottom, then you have two satellite like arms jutting outwards to put your two hooks and bait.

Imagine heat shrink tubing, but it is padded and foam like and comes in whatever color you want – that’s this. I used it to recover some older fishing rods and they turned out great. The yellow gets a bit dirty so choose your color wisely.

This fits a standard 2″ receiver hitch commonly found on half ton trucks trucks and other vehicles. It will hold 4 fishing poles, or flags, or whatever you want to cram into it. It’s lightweight and goes great on the front receiver of our golf cart.

This is a full fishing pole and artificial bait kit that fits in a bag I can get under the golf cart seat! These really do expand out to full size rods and quite capable reels! I believe they expand to about 6.5 feet long.

This collapsible bait bucket stores flattened and expands when you need it in to a good sized bait live well. It comes with an air supply and bubble stone. You do need to supply a USB type A power outlet – I use a small battery bank.

I have several bait cast nets in varying sizes. I started with a 12 foot net which was way to big if you are new at casting them. These are sold by the radius size so a 3′ net is actually a 6′ net. I suggest started with the 3’/6′ net if you are new to cast nets and work your way larger.

I use these to locate my crab traps and mark the trap for swimmers. People do get curious so expect so investigation by anyone out in the water. I use a little more tether line than I need in case the currents move the traps.

My cousin always found bait fish better than I did – until I learned his secret. He wears polarized sunglasses and you can see into the water better. These also float which is a big deal for me.

I have 5 of this model camera at our beach property. They connect directly to the WiFi without the need for a hub. This is the version 3 with really good night vision, I read that the night vision is superior to the newest version 4.

This Margaritaville Pina Colada powdered mix is the type you add to a water bottle and shake up. It has a really good taste and almost a texture like a thin Pina Colada – maybe that’s just my imagination but it’s good and mixes well for a little more beach friendly adult version.

What’s not to like? The royal blue color really pops and leaves lots of square inches of skin for the enhanced vitamin D absorption. Again, I like this a lot more than my wife does, though it looks great on her!

This is the best inflator I’ve ever owned short of a full sized air compressor. It uses the 20 Volt Max DeWalt brand batteries and has hoses for both airing tires and inflating beach toys. It does not come with a battery.

Just like the swim trunks I like so much, my wife has these with the compression liner instead of the traditional mesh liner. They really put an end to chaffing and look great too.

On the safer end of the modesty spectrum is this tankini my wife wears, it has the built in bra but excludes the inserts that never seem to stay straight.

This ATV sound bar has 4 x 6.5″ marine speakers and a water shielded power plug inlet. There are no knobs or controls, except for 12v electricity, it is all handled over Bluetooth. The sound is good and loud but rugged enough to strap to an ATV or golf cart. I have this one strapped to the inside room struts of our linmo golf cart.

My fresh water fishing buddy has this knife, imagine an electric turkey carving knife but cordless and designed for fileting fish. It cuts through fish skin like a light saber through butter.

Believe it or not, there are other uses for these than just making Jello shots, though if I buy a 250 pack we’re probably making Jello shots! These are the perfect size and has a good secure lid.

This crab and bait trap is a tad over 3 feet long. My favorite catch in this thing was a 41″ alligator gar caught with a sachet bag of canned cat food. It was quite the shock when I pulled the trap up and saw the gar, almost fell backwards.

If you surf fish you probably have PVC rod holders, these are the quickest way to get them in the ground fast and deep. I also use it for PVC pipe holders for our beach umbrellas and inflatable toy or crab trap tether points.

I have two of these monsters, they hold 64 ounces and keep cold things cold for extended periods. You also get an extra straw and mouthpiece assembly to always have a clean one.

I wear these everyday without fail – for at least part of the day. They’re Crocs brand and are very comfortable and do hold up well. I love that they have no leather or canvas so everything dries on them super fast in the sun.

This is a very large capacity USB power bank, but it also has a solar panel built in to keep it charges as well as a small light. It’s a good size to use at the beach to run your bait aerator or charge your phone.

I love this stuff, it smells very clean like you just got out of the shower. It’s light and refreshing and doesn’t overpower like some brands do. My wife has never complained about me putting on too much.

These are about the same cut and material as the other tank tops above, but the color selection is vast! The quality on these is quite good and they hold up well to years of washing.

I just used this earlier today when we lost electricity. It has two 115VAC outlets so you can run that blender on the beach – or charge phones. It has a max output of 500 watts so you’re not going to run an entire camper, but yes to a CPAP or a fan for sure.

This one is my fave can koozie, the Brumate. It’s well made, rust proof and has survived several seasons living in the dash of the beach cart. I have this one in black. It keeps the 16 ounce aluminum bottles cold for much longer than regular koozies.

Here’s another repeat purchase item – at least 5 times. The wife loves these. She has worn out a few and the dogs have disposed of a few. They split the middle between dressy and casual so they get a load of use.

More Turtle Box Bluetooth speaker varieties to choose from – a configuration to pair with just about any decor.

Lose things often? How about a bright orange Turtle Box? It has the same great Turtle Box quality and sound but in a DayGlo orange wrapper.

I don’t consider bungee cords a “luxury” item but if there were to be a luxury version, this would be the ones. These have almost a silicone feel to them and are super rugged.

Remember the old school giant marine coolers? Well they’re still out there. The prices are a lot better than the rotomolded coolers and they are offered in all sizes, some huge sizes!
